Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded that are mostly of the horror or martial arts genres. Her style of review and methodology are similar to that of The Cinema Snob. However she prefers to review crappy action films with a morbid fascination. Her first review was around the middle of 2009, after she was well-known on their forums. (Under her old username Obscurus Lupa) Then she was asked to be part of the Channel Awesome team. The website was her home until 2015, which is when Obscurus Lupa Presents became Movie Nights. She also currently runs two podcasts via her channel that both cover the Charmed series and co-hosted together with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Also, she was as a character in Brad Jones' movie Jesus Bro! He has also had her as a guest on several episodes of his show Midnight Screenings. She reviews awful films for kids or RiffTrax programs, and also occasional adult humor (including Baywatch (2017)). The first time she reviewed movies was in 2009. Following her rise to fame on the Channel Awesome forums, she was asked into the Reviewer group. She has appeared in countless Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She was a part of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and often appeared on episode of the Nostalgia Critic.
