Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film usually within the genre of martial arts and horror. genre a roughly similar beat to The Cinema Snob but tending towards dumb action flicks and an obsession with these films. She started reviewing late in 2009, and gained some respect on the forums of Channel Awesome under the old username Obscurus lupa. In 2010 she joined the Channel Awesome Family. She continued to be a part of the site up until January 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. The host hosts two podcasts on the channel, both of which are based on the Charmed series and are co-hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She started reviewing movies late in 2009. Following her rise to fame on the Channel Awesome forums, she was asked into the Reviewer group. Her appearances have been in numerous Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. She was a former member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and would often appear on the show Nostalgia Critic.
